Thirteen Proverbs For Overcoming Depression And Being Happy

  6. Many people’s beliefs and actions show that being miserable is their priority.  They should make being happy their priority and invest in learning how.

  7. If you can find enough things and people, including yourself, to blame, it is OK to be miserable.

  8. God gave us control over one thing, our minds.  If we learn to control it, we can be happy.  If we fail to control it, we will be unhappy.

Being happy is something that must be learned.  You did not receive any training by your parents or in school on how to be happy.  Many people invest 20,000 hours from K through college, but will not invest 1 hour to learn how to be happy.  If you fail to learn how to be happy, you will be unhappy.
